| Ein hervorragender Aussichtsgipfel
über dem Rhonetal ist das Spitzhoreli (Spitzhörnchen) westlich
des Simplonpasses. Ein guter Wanderweg führt von den Passhöhe
in etwa 1,5 Stunden zum Gipfel, der eine beeindruckende Rundsicht über
die Berge nördlich des Rhonetals bis zum Monte Leone und zur Mischabelgruppe
bietet. Ebenfalls eine Besuch wert ist das Plateau der Belalp nördlich
von Brig mit seiner Aussicht auf den Aletschgletscher und die Walliser Alpen. Spitzhoreli is an excellent panorama summit high above the Swiss Rhone Valley. Starting at the Simplon pass it takes about 1.5 hours to reach the summit on a good path. The panorama is impressive and covers the mountains north of the Rhone Valley as well as the Mischabel Range up to Monte Leone. The Belalp plateau north of Brig is also worth to be visited because of its nice views of the Aletsch Glacier and the summits of the Wallis Range. << Mont Blanc / Wallis... |
