Die Uscioluhütte (1810 m) unterhalb des Monte Formicola (Ameisenberg). Nach Verlassen der Uscioluhütte überschreitet man den Monte Formicola (1981 m). Im Süden der Denkmalsgrat mit der Punta de l´Usciulu (1815 m), rechts dahinter der Monte Occhiatu (1762 m), links das Plateau du Coscione und der Monte Lattone (1672 m).

The Usciolu Hut (1.810 m) below Monte Formicola (Hill of the Ants). After leaving the Usciolu Hut we had to cross Monte Formicola (1.981 m). In southern direction we can see the Statue Ridge with Punta de l' Usciulu (1.815 m) and Monte Occiatu (1.762 m) behind. Monte Lattone (1.672 m) and the Plateau du Coscione are following to the left.


Am Gipfel des Monte Formicula öffnet sich der Blick nach Süden zum Monte Incudine, rechts davon das Plateau du Coscione. Im Mittelgrund der Monte Lattonaccia (1711 m). Im Nordwesten zeigt sich der Monte Renoso (2352 m - rechts) und die Punta a Vetta (2255 m - linka). Im Tal die Strasse zum Col de Verde.

Nördlich der Punta di a Cappella (2042 m - im Hintergrund) passiert man die Pratihütte (Refuge de Prati - 1820m). Wir zogen allerdings den Abstieg bis zum Col de Verde (1298 m) vor. Etwas westlich des Col de Verde fand sich an einem Bach ein komfortabler Zeltpatz.

North of Punta di a Cappella (2042 m - in the background) we passed the Prati Hut (Refuge de Prati - 1820 m) and descended down the Col de Verde Pass (1.298 m). Somewhat west of the Pass we found a quite comfortable campsite.
