Seealpen: Col d' Agnel - Pan di Zucchero

Der Pan di Zucchero ist ein vielbesuchter Gipfel mit einzigartiger Aussicht und vom Col d' Agnel (2749 m) westlich des Monte Viso in knapp zwei Stunden zu erreichen. Gutes Wetter vorausgesetzt reicht die Aussicht vom Monte Rosa über Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso zur Vanoise, Dauphine und nach Süden bis zur Cima Argentera. Gelegenheiten zum Zelten gibt es unterhalb der französischen Paßseite oder man übernachtet im Rifugio Alpini Mondovi.

Pan di Zucchero is a quite frequented summit with an exceptional view. From the Agnel Pass (2749 m) west of Monte Viso the summit can be reached in less than two hours. On clear days the view covers Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc as well as Gran Paradiso, the Vanoise and the Dauphine range up to Cima Argentera. On the french side of the pass there are several possibilities for camping or you can stay at the Alpini Mondovi Hut.

Das Panorama auf dem Pan di Zucchero ist wirklich außergewöhnlich und beginnt im Süden mit Cima de Gelas und Cima d' Argentera (linke Bergreihe ganz hinten) in den Ligurischen Alpen.

The panorama on top of Pan di Zucchero is truly exceptional and starts in southern direction with Cima de Gelas and Cima d'Argentera (left range in the back), both beeing part of the Ligurian Alps.
